AV Living Lab respects your privacy and the security of your personal data in accordance with Slovenian and European legislation. We will use your personal data only for the purposes set out in this document.

AV Living Lab does not transfer personal data to third parties, third countries or international organisations. The exceptions to this are the data we collect during the execution of events, which we pass on to the co-organisers and/or partners of the event, and the data collected by YouTube.

In its General Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, the Youtube online platform guarantees compliance with the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and confirms that they have obtained certification of compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.

Types of personal data, legal bases and purposes of processing

AV Living Lab collects and processes personal data based on the consent of individuals and to comply with legal obligations to which we are subject.

The individual whose personal data is processed on the basis of consent may give consent to the processing of personal data on a case-by-case basis.

Processing based on legitimate interests

AV Living Lab collects and processes personal data on the basis of legitimate interests pursued by us. We collect personal data based on legitimate interests for the following purposes:

statistical analysis of the websites visited
providing and improving our services
to ensure the security of our services and websites, and to protect against fraud, spam, abuse, etc.

For these purposes, we collect and process the following personal data: IP address, website visit statistics, clickstream data, click time, data on incoming and outgoing websites, data on client type.

The personal data processed for the above purposes are not linked to the personal data of identifiable individuals.

To ensure the protection of personal data, AV Living Lab implements all the necessary physical, technical, logical and organisational procedures and measures, on the basis of the adopted internal acts and in accordance with good practices in the field of information security, or through contractual partners, so that:

the application software used to process personal data is protected
preventing unauthorised access to personal data in the course of their transmission, including transmission by telecommunications means and networks
ensuring an effective means of archiving, destruction, erasure or anonymisation of personal data
protect premises, hardware and software
permits the subsequent identification of when personal data have been subject to any processing and by whom, for the period for which the personal data are stored.

Retention period of personal data

Personal data of an individual obtained on the basis of consent will be kept for 1 year from the date of revocation of your consent.

Personal data collected on the basis of legitimate interests shall be kept until the data subject has exercised his/her rights or the purpose for which it was originally collected exists.

The right of access of the data subject

The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation from the controller as to whether personal data concerning him or her are being processed and, if so, access to the personal data.

Right to rectification

The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her without undue delay. The data subject shall have the right, having regard to the purposes of the processing, to have incomplete personal data completed.

Right to erasure

The data subject shall have the right to have personal data concerning him or her erased by the controller without undue delay and the controller shall have the obligation to erase the personal data without undue delay.

Right to restriction of processing

The data subject shall have the right to obtain the controller’s restriction of processing where the data subject objects to the accuracy of the data, where the processing is unlawful and where the data subject objects to their erasure and requests instead the restriction of their use, where the data subject objects to their processing and where the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but the data subject needs them for the establishment, exercise or defence of claims.

The data subject shall have the right to receive personal data concerning him or her which he or she has held with the controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to have those data transmitted to another controller, without being hindered thereby by the controller to whom the personal data have been provided.
